About the Author
Scott Farrell, author of The Champion In Silence (and, hopefully, many more titles in the series), is a long-time medieval enthusiast and reader of Arthurian legend. Dissatisfied with today’s current offerings of the stories of King Arthur and his knights – all of which seem to be comedic fairy tales (for young readers) or grim historical interpretations (for adults) – Scott set out to re-imagine the world of Camelot in the vein of of the medieval troubadours.
Scott is a freelance writer and director of the Chivalry Today Educational Program. His writing has appeared in magazines, including Military History Quarterly, Chivalry Sports and Men Today, and in several books, including Living A Life Of Value (Jason Merchey, editor) and the forthcoming Martial Arts And Philosophy (Damon Young, editor). The Champion In Silence will be his first novel.
